Electric Crucible Hauler

Electric Crucible Hauler is a battery-powered material handling vehicle designed for transporting crucibles in demanding aluminium smelter environments. EPIQ Machinery’s e-CTV 18T Electric Hauler is a compact, 100% electric-driven solution developed to support crucible handling while reducing emissions and eliminating diesel-engine maintenance requirements.

The hauler is designed to operate in harsh conditions, including strong magnetic fields, dust and wide temperature ranges. It is semi-autonomous and AGV-ready, allowing plants to transition from manually steered hauling toward more automated material handling. The automatic crucible pick-up mode can position the vehicle beneath the crucible stand, reducing manual steering during pick-up operations.
