Downstream recap: Jiangsu Minglida expands operations with its state-of-the-art aluminium die-casting project in Hai'an County

The Jiangsu Hai'an High-tech Industrial Development Zone Management Committee inked an investment agreement with Jiangsu Minglida and the People's Government of Hai'an County to construct a new aluminium alloy precision die casting project. The statement was made on December 15 during the 14th meeting of the second Board of Directors. On December 8, Zhejiang Wanfeng Auto Wheel (ZCW), a China-based firm primarily producing and distributing aluminium alloy wheels for vehicles and motorbikes finished the piling construction of its long-awaited automotive calliper project. Despite experiencing a deficit in the previous fiscal year, the share price of BD Thai Aluminium, a publicly traded firm in Bangladesh, increased by 82 per cent in a month. The company's income fell by 20 per cent yearly to Tk93 crore in fiscal 2022-23, while it lost Tk6.60 crore over the same year.
