New Zealand based boat builder Sealegs is all set to release its newest 7.7m Sport D-Tube model with aluminium hull at Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) as part of the Sirocco Marine North exhibit. The show will take place from May 25 to 28 2017 where the industry presents its latest boating and marine innovations.
{alcircleadd}The new model has been designed and made in-house by the company and comes under the current 6.1m model in the D-Tube range. The 7.7m Sport D-Tube gets 5mm aluminium hull which has a 21 degree deadrise. The model also features six aluminium chambers for buoyancy.
Aluminium hull model is fitted with a 200hp engine and runs at a top speed of 38.5 knots. The new models measure 7.8m in length overall with the wheels up, and has an external beam of 2.26m.

Sealegs uses the patented Amphibious Enablement System (AES) which combines hydraulically powered legs and wheels and is powered by a marinised 22hp inboard engine. Apart from the new Sealegs model, Sirocco Marine will also showcase its 15 Brig models including the complete new HT series of lightweight, low cost yacht, powerboat and cat tender models ranging from 2.9m to 3.8m.
