China’s A00 aluminium ingot price dives down by RMB110/t; Alumina price in Shanxi gains RMB10/t

A00 aluminium ingot price has downsized by RMB 110 per tonne, resting at RMB 19,410 per tonne, as the Shanghai Metals Market recorded on Tuesday, December 6. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 19,390 per tonne and RMB 19,430 per tonne, with spot contracts trading at premium prices of RMB 70 per tonne and RMB 30 per tonne.

The provinces in China all have seen declining prices today, with aluminium ingot price sliding down the highest in Foshan, Chongqing and Linyi by RMB 110 per tonne, to settle at RMB 19,410 per tonne, RMB 19,470 per tonne and RMB 19,410 per tonne. The aluminium prices slumped by RMB 105 per tonne in Wuxi and Hangzhou, arriving at RMB 19,400 per tonne and RMB 19,420 per tonne, respectively. In Shenyang the aluminium price fell by RMB 90 per tonne closing at RMB 19,350 per tonne. Lastly, in Gongyi and Tianjin the aluminium price dropped down by RMB 70 per tonne, halting at RMB 19,250 per tonne and RMB 19,440 per tonne.

In China, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has de-escalated by RMB 117 per tonne to stand at RMB 20,003 per tonne on Tuesday, December 6.

The prices of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) have lost RMB 100 per tonne each closing at RMB 27,400 per tonne and RMB 28,400 per tonne.

The averaged alumina price in China has gained RMB 3 per tonne to stop at RMB 2,836 per tonne, while the alumina price in Shanxi has heightened by RMB 10 per tonne, closing at RMB 2,880 per tonne. Whereas, the alumina price in Guangxi has seen RMB 5 per tonne hike, pegging at RMB 2,760 per tonne.

The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has plunged by RMB 100 per tonne to stop at RMB 20,600 per tonne, with averages ranging between RMB 20,400 per tonne and RMB 20,800 per tonne. The prices of aluminium alloy (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have also gone down the graph by RMB 50 per tonne, clocking at RMB 19,500 per tonne and RMB 20,500 per tonne.

The price of aluminium powder in China has lost RMB 0.10 per kg, stopping at RMB 21 per kg with average prices hovering between RMB 20.90 per kg and RMB 21.10 per kg.
