The average alumina spot price has stopped at RMB 2,791 per tonne after witnessing a growth of RMB 16 per tonne on Friday, November 25. The prices in Shanxi, Guizhou and Guangxi have ascended by RMB 20 per tonne to halt at RMB 2,805 per tonne, RMB 2,740 per tonne and RMB 2,700 per tonne. In Shandong and Henan, the alumina price has gone up by RMB 15 per tonne and RMB 5 per tonne to settle at RMB 2,725 per tonne and RMB 2,880 per tonne.
{alcircleadd}On the same day, the A00 aluminium ingot price decreased by RMB 70 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,030 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 19,010 per tonne and RMB 19,050 per tonne. The spot contract price may be traded at a premium price of RMB 50 to RMB 90 per tonne. Prices in Shenyang, Hangzhou and Foshan have fallen by RMB 90 per tonne, RMB 65 per tonne and RMB 60 per tonne to close at RMB 18,960 per tonne, RMB 19,055 per tonne and RMB 19,100 per tonne.
As per the SMM data, prices in Wuxi and Chongqing have declined by RMB 55 per tonne and RMB 50 per tonne to score at RMB 19,045 per tonne and RMB 19,150 per tonne. Tianjin and Linyi recorded a dip of RMB 40 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,030 per tonne and RMB 19,110 per tonne. In Gongyi, the A00 aluminium ingot price went down by RMB 20 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,970 per tonne.
The domestic price of low carbon aluminium in China has slumped by RMB 60 per tonne to close at RMB 19,703 per tonne. The high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price contracted by RMB 100 per tonne to clock at RMB 27,000 per tonne and RMB 28,000 per tonne.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has gone down by RMB 50 per tonne to score at RMB 20,300 per tonne, with the average prices ranging between RMB 20,100 per tonne and RMB 20,500 per tonne. However, the price of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and (A380) remained restrained at RMB 19,350 per tonne and RMB 20,350 per tonne.
