And I\u2019ve had others who disappear when a truck gets stuck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">One key lesson:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Build real relationships with logistics providers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ask difficult questions. Share feedback. Work like a team, not as \u201cjust another customer.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because the aluminium itself doesn&#8217;t move, trust does.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Separate product price from delivery, but don&#8217;t disconnect them.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In some markets, customers expect an all-in-one offer: product + transport. In others, they want to control the logistics themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The challenge? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.alcircle.com\/blog\/does-one-strategy-fit-all-regions-in-the-aluminium-trade\/\">You need to be flexible without losing control.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The best scenario is when you can optimise the full process:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Product<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Packaging<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Container or truck loading<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Route<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2026to offer both a fair price and a smooth delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s where you become more than a seller. You become a solution provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The right questions build the right supply chain.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I used to think the offer ends once the price is right. Now I know it starts when the right questions are asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before any shipment, we first sit down and do the math:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Weight \u00d7 Length \u00d7 Quantity, because in aluminium, logistics cost depends on the volume, how you pack and load it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">This helps us:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Choose the right container (20ft, 40ft or truck),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plan efficient loading (loose, bundled or stacked),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Avoid surprises at port or customs (especially for oversized or heavy loads).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s why, before talking about the route, we calculate everything. Only then do we ask the right questions of both the customer and the logistics partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To customers:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Do you require a specific Incoterm?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How often do you restock, monthly, quarterly or per project?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Should we send to the port, your warehouse or a distribution hub?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do you have any packaging preferences?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any unloading time restrictions at your facility?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do you prefer 20ft or 40ft containers?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To logistics partners:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What is your primary route and what are the alternatives?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What\u2019s the realistic average transit time for this destination?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are there seasonal port delays or strikes we should expect?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Can you support combined transport?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do you handle customs clearance, or should we arrange it separately?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do you offer insurance for aluminium profiles?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These questions and MORE can be defined by how smoothly your product arrives or how painful the process becomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the global aluminium trade, the supply chain is where real customer experience happens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can have a strong product.
