The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, Inc. (ISRI), the Voice of the Recycling Industry, is once again hosting its annual Commodities Roundtable Forum, September 19 to 21, 2016, in Chicago. The once a year event is a must-attend for all involved in the trade of scrap commodities, from processors to brokers to buyers. It provides the most comprehensive view of what is happening across a wide range of recycled commodities including ferrous and nonferrous metals, plastics, and the key trends impacting the $106 billion scrap recycling industry.
The feature event this year will be the Roundtable on the World Markets. This broad-ranging discussion on the global commodity markets will include speakers offering expert opinions on global market developments.

{alcircleadd}“With the amount of uncertainty in the global commodity markets due to factors such as the effects of excess global production, shifting consumption patterns, and increased emphasis on trade remedies, recyclers are looking to learn more about the many opportunities still available,” said Joe Pickard, ISRI’s chief economist. “During this year’s roundtable, we will delve deeper into the global economic outlook.”
ISRI has assembled a group of expert speakers from around the world to shed light on the important issues impacting the scrap industry, in their specific fields. The event is free and open to the press.
