Trending aluminium industry events to be attended in October 2016: Part I

The month of October is another eventful month for the global aluminium industry, the end user segment and the other allied industries. The holiday season is approaching and the industry is busy wrapping up the event season in the coming two months. AlCircle picks twenty most relevant events that aluminium industry players would like to attend from 1st to 15th October.
 
1. ICSOBA 2016
Date: 3rd– 6th October, 2016
Location: Hotel Palace Royal of Quebec, Canada
 
The ICSOBA or The International Committee for Study of Bauxite, Alumina & Aluminium (ICSOBA) Conference needs no introduction for the aluminium industry players.  Since 1963 ICSOBA organized 34 symposia, congresses and seminars in different parts of the world.  The main objective of ICSOBA is to promote the exchange of ideas and results of the work from different fields of research related to bauxite exploration and mining, and alumina and aluminium production.

The 34th International Conference and Exhibition of ICSOBA, organized in cooperation with Rio Tinto Alcan and the “REGAL”, will provide an excellent opportunity to interact with international experts, scientists, engineers, technology suppliers, equipment manufacturers and representatives from the global aluminium industry.
 
2. Paris Motor Show 2016
Date: 1st– 16th October, 2016
Location: Hotel Palace Royal of Quebec, Canada
 
The Paris Motor Show (French: Mondial de l'Automobile) is a biennial auto show in Paris. It is one of the most important auto shows, often with many new production automobile and concept car debuts. The Mondial is scheduled by the Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d'Automobiles, which considers it a major international auto show.

3. FOND-EX - The International Foundry Fair  
Date: 3rd – 7th October, 2016
Location: Brno Exhibition Centre, Czech Republic
 
FOND-EX is the third biggest specialised foundry trade fair in the world, and surely the most important one in the Central European market region.
 
FOND-EX fair is a place where representatives of foundries and pattern plants from all over the region come to see the new machines and appliances, and to get acquainted with new progressive technologies and materials. This position of the fair issued in a high percentage of foreign participants.

4. BUDEXPO AUTUMN, 34th International Exhibition of Construction 2016
Date: 4th – 7th October, 2016
Location: Kyiv city, Ukraine

5. TOKYO PACK 2016 - Tokyo International Packaging Exhibition 2016

8. Wire & Cable India 2016
