China’s A00 aluminium ingot price surges by RMB400/t; Aluminium alloy (A356) price grows by RMB200/t

China’s A00 aluminium ingot price has augmented by RMB 400 per tonne to peg at RMB 21,460 per tonne, opines SMM. The average price for the same is expected to orbit between RMB 21,440 per tonne and RMB 21,480 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 20-20 per tonne. The market will be watching closely to see how the continuing pandemic regulations affect supply and demand. Aluminium prices will remain under pressure if inventories continue to expand.

As of today in Gongyi and Foshan, the price has surged by RMB 390 per tonne to come in at RMB 21,440 per tonne and RMB 21,500 per tonne. In Wuxi, Chongqing and Linyi the price has hiked by RMB 400 per tonne total at RMB 21,455 per tonne, RMB 21,500 per tonne and RMB 21,590 per tonne. For the same day in Hangzhou and Shenyang the price has shot up by RMB 450 per tonne and RMB 370 per tonne to close at RMB 21,580 per tonne and RMB 21,480 per tonne. In Tianjin the price has closed at RMB 21,460 per tonne, recording a rise of RMB 300 per tonne.

Aluminium alloy (ADC12) price and (A380) price has soared up by RMB 150 per tonne to stop at RMB 21,650 per tonne and RMB 22,650 per tonne. The average price for (ADC12) is expected to range between RMB 21,550 per tonne and RMB 21,750 per tonne. For (A380), the average price is expected to hover between RMB 22,550 per tonne and RMB 22,750 per tonne. Aluminium alloy (A356) price has surged by RMB 200 per tonne to come in at RMB 22,700 per tonne, with average price expected to orbit between RMB 22,600 per tonne and RMB 22,800 per tonne.

Aluminium powder price has also gone up by RMB 0.4 per kg to halt at RMB 23.1 per kg, with average prices estimated to hover between RMB 23 per kg to RMB 23.2 per kg.
