Mid-States Aluminium Corp to create 39 new jobs on expansion and installation of a new press line

EDITED BY : 2MINS READ

Mid-States Aluminium Corp., one of the leading suppliers of aluminium extrusions, has reportedly started breaking grounds and taking necessary steps towards expansion and installation of a new press line at its extrusion and fabrication facility. This new facility involves around US$ 23 million of investment in the local area, which will be used in buying “state-of-the-art extrusion press line and automation equipment,” according to a press release from the company. This will allow the company to upgrade its facility while maintaining its competitive advantage in the market for aluminium extrusions and value-added competition.

Located at 132 Trowbridge Drive, the facility currently provides services in aluminium extrusion, as well as machining, fabrication, anodizing, tooling and assembly to medical equipment, building and construction, electronics, machinery and equipment, and transportation markets as stated on its website.

According to the report, CEO James Spannbauer made a special mention of the support provided by the group, as well as by Fond du Lac County Board President Marty Farrell and Fond du Lac City Manager Joe Moore towards the company's reinvestment in the city.

The report also says that the project is expected to create 39 new jobs on completion. Construction is likely to be completed by the end of 2018, with fully operation equipment in place by mid-2019.

“Mid-States specifically selected local contractors for the expansion project to keep jobs in the Fond du Lac area and support the local community,” said Spannbauer in a press release.
