Constellium SE, a global manufacturer of aluminium rolled products, extruded products and structural parts, announced that the company is providing aluminium auto body sheet for the brand-new Maserati Grecale SUV.

For the hood, liftgate, and doors of the Maserati Grecale, Constellium is the major supplier of Auto Body Sheet solutions. Constellium offers Surfalex®, its high surface quality solution with unique hemming and roping capabilities, which is especially suited to the sculpted lines that distinguish companies like Maserati for the outside of the hood and liftgate.

In 2021, 1 in 4 vehicles produced in Europe and the US received aluminium solutions from Constellium, a full-service supplier of rolled and extruded aluminium solutions for the worldwide automotive market. We work with automakers to create lighter, safer, more fuel-efficient, longer-range electric vehicles.

Constellium will also provide high-performing 5182 alloys for the interior of the hood, front and back doors, and liftgate, which offers the essential strength and formability for complicated inner parts. The Grecale receives all Auto Body Sheet solutions from Constellium's facility in Neuf-Brisach, France. Constellium, a long-time associate of Stellantis brands, offers aluminium solutions for several car platforms in Europe and the United States, including Jeep, Peugeot, Citroen, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, and, as recently, Maserati.
