Currently, the UK’s sole and last remaining producer, Bridgnorth Aluminium, of aluminium flat rolled coils, is looking forward to resuming 24/7 operations within the key process areas. It will be the first in the last three years where the firm has been able to reach the production level and is deemed to create great working opportunities for the local and nearby people.
{alcircleadd}Adrian Musgrave, the Commercial Director of Bridgnorth Aluminium, stated, "Aluminium is taking on a far greater significance and profile as we move towards Net Zero, with the material ideally suited for recycling, lightweighting and for use in batteries and renewable power generation. Thanks to recent investments, our strong technical teams and ongoing training for staff, we are in a really good position to take advantage, with strong export growth expected."
He further added, “The US, in particular, is a market that offers plenty of potential despite the tariffs imposed by Trump. That’s because we still have a tariff advantage and we offer customers access to materials and technologies they can’t get domestically.”

Recently, the company has been making strides towards the community by pioneering a scheme that aims to support the charities as well as the community groups spanning across the border. In order to achieve this, the company has joined the Shropshire Investors in Community scheme, which is run by the Shropshire Community Foundation.
By joining as a member, the firm will play a part in supporting charities and grassroots organisations throughout 2026.
Owing to this, Adrian commented, "Bridgnorth Aluminium could genuinely serve as the model enterprise the UK government wants to promote.
