Global packaging leader Ball Corporation has announced the appointment of John E. Panichella, Chief Executive Officer of Solenis, to its Board of Directors. This is seen as a strategic move of Ball towards reinforcing its focus on leadership depth and sustainable growth.

Panichella has built a distinguished career in the water treatment and speciality chemicals sectors. As CEO of Solenis, he has led a global team developing sustainable process and water treatment solutions for water-intensive industries. Before joining Solenis, he actually led Ashland’s water technologies business, which was later spun off to form Solenis in 2014. In Solenis, he helped drive innovation and expand operations into emerging markets.

As stated by Daniel W. Fisher, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, “We are delighted to welcome John to Ball’s board”. “His global experience and strong record of growth and innovation will be a valuable asset as we continue to improve performance and deliver long-term sustainable success.”

Ball Corporation announced that it will release its third-quarter 2025 financial results on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, before trading opens on the New York Stock Exchange. A webcast and conference call will take place at 9 am Mountain Time (11 a.m. Eastern).

Ball Corporation is a global supplier of sustainable aluminium packaging for beverages, personal-care, and household-product customers. At present, the company employs 16,000 people across the globe and reportedly made sales of USD 11.8 billion in 2024, excluding its divested aerospace business.
