Alcomet, the Bulgarian aluminium products manufacturer made public on 20^th Jan’20 its intention to build a new building infrastructure and install computer numerical control (CNC) machinery. This will permit the company to stretch out its product portfolio.

Alcomet in its statement said, “Before the new building is ready, the machinery will be installed at the company's existing central storage building”.

The company was also very much clear in its intention to replace the musty equipment at the wastewater treatment plant of its extruded products installation.

In 2019, Alcomet executed a new aluminium profiles production facility with a vision to foot in the automotive parts industry.

The company said at that time “The new Hybrex press, produced by Germany's SMS Group, will allow Alcomet to boost its extruded product output in the medium term to 35,000 tonnes per year”.

Alcomet’s production includes household, technical and container foils fin-stock, sheets, and strips, as well as standard and customized profiles. The company has been exporting over 90% of its produce.
