Inventor, engineer, investor and business magnate Elon Musk demonstrated his latest super vehicle prototype driving through a subterranean tunnel network at 200 kilometer per hour speed.
In the test run, Elon Musk’s car prototype with chassis built out of aluminium, is seen carried by a vessel into the tunnel, where computer controlled sleds on rails catapult it to its destination.
{alcircleadd}Following is the image shared by the CEO and product architect of Tesla Motors on his Instagram page:
On the social networking site, Musk puts up a disclaimer saying, “Warning, this may cause motion sickness or seizures. This is a test run of our electric sled that would transport cars at 125 mph (200 km/h) through the tunnels, automatically switching from one tunnel to the next. Would mean Westwood to LAX in 5 mins.”
It appears from the image that the chassis of the car is made from aluminium with the rail visible and tunnel effect accentuated by the overhead lights.

It could be understood from reports available from reliable sources that large boring machines would create this new infrastructure, which is one of several initiatives pioneered by the South African entrepreneur.
Elon Musk has also initiated an ultra-fast, intercontinental rail system in Hyperloop, has set up an entire refuelling infrastructure for his electric cars, and plans to revolutionise freight by replacing filthy diesel trucks with electric ones.
