The leading insulbar insulating profiles manufacturer Ensinger has announced the receipt of a major order from Western Windows Systems for North America. The company which equips the Series 7000 aluminium-framed moving glass walls, doors and windows from Western Window Systems with insulbar has developed as many as twelve new product lines using this thermal barrier technology.
{alcircleadd}The aluminium-framed moving glass walls, windows and doors that are equipped with Ensinger insulbar are found to achieve the lowest U-values. They are particularly designed for the North American market but have all the qualities it takes to make a solid headway into any matured or emerging market.
The newly launched thermally broken aluminium products of Western Window Systems greatly simplify how architects and builders can select doors and windows for their projects.

As per the company specifications, the state-of-the-art doors, windows and moving glass walls offer superior energy efficiency with U-value ratings as low as .19 BTU/(h·ft²·°F) (or 1,08 W/m2K when utilizing triple pane glass).
The wood industry has been trying for years to address the demand for this type of architecture and have time again come up with products branded as “contemporary”, but those brands failed to capture the market attention.
“Architects want the look, functionality, and strength of aluminium, and have often sacrificed energy ratings to get it. Our new aluminium product family will be more energy efficient than wood,” Scott Gates, President and CEO of Western Window Systems.
