Chinese aluminium giant Chalco reported an increase in revenue and profit in the first half of 2017. The company intends to become the biggest aluminium semis producer worldwide this year, reported by Shanghai Metals Market.
{alcircleadd}Chalco posted 153 billion in revenues in the first half of 2017, an increase of 53 per cent year-on-year. The company reported 1.12 billion in profit for that same period, up 1.41 billion year-on-year.
The production of aluminium semis to exceed 2.8 million tonnes in 2017, the company expects.
