{alcircleadd}Bauxite production volumes from North Urals were also driven by the performance of the Bogoslovsk refinery. Kindia mine production in first quarter 2017 remained below the historic average but according to mining works schedule, the company anticipate the volumes to improve during the second quarter. Bauxite production from the Bauxite Company of Guyana increased by 13.2% quarter on quarter, which is largely explained by a low base effect.

Year over year, bauxite production dropped 4.6% from the first quarter of 2016, mostly due to the closure of Alpart mines and lower production in Friguia and Kindia mines.
