The Fourth International Symposium on “The Development and Future of Aluminium Industry in China -Reality and Dream," organized by the International Bauxite, Alumina & Aluminium Society (IBAAS), in cooperation with China Aluminium International Engineering Corporation Limited (CHALIECO) and Suzhou Research Institute for Non-ferrous Metals Co. Ltd (SINR) awaits opening at Suzhou near Shanghai in China.
The three-day symposium to be held from November 25-27 will focus on the outstanding developments of aluminium downstream industry in China. The latest innovation and R&D work on bauxite processing, alumina and aluminium production world over with special reference to China and India will also be highlighted in this one-of-a-kind trade event.
IBAAS 2015 will provide an excellent opportunity for the professionals from the global bauxite, alumina, smelter and downstream aluminium industry to discuss innovative ideas, technical solutions, and probable changes in the market dynamics. Bauxite mine owners and producers, alumina refiners, aluminium producers, traders and a number of equipment manufacturers rom Turkey, Malaysia, Ghana, Guinea, Madagascar, China and India who have already confirmed their participation in this mega event are expected to turn up in huge numbers at the event.
Dr. Ashok Nandi, the Convener and Mr. H. Mahadevan, the Vice President for IBAAS Conference, said in a recent interview to AlCircle.com: "There is a good mix of technical, marketing and general papers on Aluminium Industry to be presented at the Conference. There are papers from CRU, SRK, China Non-Ferrous Metals Association, Prima Resources, CM Group, VEDANTA, JNARDDC and a number of leading consultants and scores of Chinese companies."
About 45 presentations on various aspects of bauxite, alumina and aluminium industry will be presented in 3 days conference, to be followed by plant visits to the modern Chinese aluminium downstream and special aluminium alloy production units.
